A VISIT TO THE LAND OF ROBOTS
Points: You sleep-gone to land of robots-a robot welcomes you—they offer food-food not edible—a feeling of discomfort-no tree-breathing trouble-awake.
The other day I was sleeping at night. And in my dream I went to the land of robots. It was a land of metals and electric wires. No tree was seen there. However, a robot welcomed me. I felt happy. I was feeling tired and hungry. So, I asked for food. In no time they served me food. The food looked attractive, but it was made of metals only. I could not take it. After a while I felt suffocated. I could not breathe. There being no tree, no oxygen was there in the air. I was desperately wanting it. In the meantime I woke up, sweating heavily. Though in dream, I realised the importance of trees in our life. Only technology is not enough for our survival.
Moral: No tree, no life.
রােবটদের দেশে ভ্রমণ
কদিন আগে আমি রাতে ঘুমােচ্ছিলাম। আর স্বপ্নে রােবটদের দেশে চলে গিয়েছিলাম। এটা ধাতু আর বৈদ্যুতিক তারের দেশ। কোনাে গাছ সেখানে দেখা যাচ্ছিল না। একটা রােবট অবশ্য আমাকে স্বাগত জানাল। আমি খুশি হলাম। আমি ক্লান্ত ছিলাম এবং খিদে পেয়েছিল। তাই আমি খাবার চাইলাম। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তারা আমাকে খাবার পরিবেশন করল। খাবারটা দেখতে খুব আকর্ষক ছিল, কিন্তু এটা স্রেফ ধাতু দিয়ে তৈরি ছিল। আমি সেটা খেতে পারিনি। খানিকক্ষণ পর আমার দমবন্ধ লাগল। আমি শ্বাস নিতে পারছিলাম না। সেখানে কোনাে গাছ না থাকায় সেখানকার বাতাসে কোনাে অক্সিজেন ছিল না। আমি মরিয়া হয়ে এটা চাইছিলাম। ইতিমধ্যে আমি ভীষণ ঘামতে ঘামতে জেগে উঠলাম। স্বপ্নে হলেও আমি বুঝেছিলাম আমাদের জীবনে গাছদের গুরুত্ব। আমাদের বেঁচে থাকার জন্য কেবল প্রযুক্তি যথেষ্ট নয়।
নীতিকথা: গাছ নেই, জীবনও নেই।
