Science has made tremendous progress over the centuries. With the help of scientific inventions man has won the most dominant place in this planet. Ever since the discovery of fire, science has helped man to improve his life. Today we wonder which fields of human civilisation do not bear the stamps of science! Even in the fields of agriculture, scientific discoveries have helped to cater the growing needs of population. Our daily life gets the blessings of science at every step. Right from the electrical gadgets to modernised vehicles, intricate tele-communications, to source of entertainment pastime-science has made our daily life easy and enjoyable in all possible ways. Discovery of computers, satellites and spaceship has conquered the universe and brought the entire world on our doorstep. New scientific inventions in the field of medicine have given us a new lease of life. Many deadly diseases have cures now. Sadly, the boons of science are also abused for evil purposes like war and nuclear bombs. But the welfare of mankind rests on the responsible use of science.
