The school magazine is an integral part of every good school. It helps to bring out the creative power of the students. The publication of a school magazine consists of a number of steps. At first manuscripts are collected from students and teachers. Then, these are thoroughly screened with proper additions, alterations and omissions as necessary. After this, they are sent to the press for composing. Next, the proof of the composed matter is checked and corrected. Now, the checked proof matter is sent to the press for the necessary corrections. Then, after correction, it is sent for printing along with a cover design. Finally, the printed matter is bound in book form and made ready for distribution.
