Hyderabad, November 22: At least 5 people were killed and several others injured in an early morning train accident today. The accident happened when Hampi Express collided with a stationary goods train in Penukonda at around 3 a.m. Hampi Express overshot signal and hit the goods train. It was travelling from Hubli to Bengaluru. Two bogies of Hampi Express have derailed. Several passengers are still trapped inside the mangled bogies of the train. Gas cutters are being used to cut the coaches. The injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospitals. Senior railway officials have reached the spot and are supervising the rescue operations.

হায়দ্রাবাদ, নভেম্বর ২২: আজ ভােরে একটি ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনায়। কমপক্ষে ৫ জন নিহত এবং আরও অনেকে আহত হয়েছেন। দুর্ঘটনাটি ঘটে যখন প্রায় ভাের ৩টের সময় পেনুকোন্ডাতে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা একটি মালগাড়িতে হাম্পি এক্সপ্রেস ধাক্কা মারে। হাম্পি এক্সপ্রেস নির্দিষ্ট পথ ছেড়ে মালগাড়িটিকে ধাক্কা মারে। এটা হুবলি থেকে বেঙ্গালুরু যাচ্ছিল। হাম্পি এক্সপ্রেসের দুটো বগি লাইনচ্যুত হয়। বহু যাত্রী এখনও ট্রেনের ভাঙাচোরা কামরার মধ্যে আটকে আছেন। বগিগুলাে কাটতে গ্যাস কাটার ব্যবহার করা হচ্ছে। আহত ব্যক্তিদের দ্রুত কাছেপিঠের হাসপাতালগুলােতে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। রেলের উচ্চপদস্থ আধিকারিকরা ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছেছেন এবং উদ্ধার কাজের তদারকি করছেন।
