IFA ORGANISES FOOTBALL COACHING CAMP

Kolkata, April 24: A football coaching camp was recently held at Mohun Bagan Ground, Kolkata, for three weeks, from 3 April to 23 April, 2015. One hundred boys below the age limit of 16 years participated in this camp. It ran from 6 am to 9 am daily under the guidance of Sri Sanjay Sen, Coach of Mohun Bagan Senior team. The IFA (Indian Football Association) organised this camp successfully. The next camp is scheduled to be organised in the same venue from December 10 to 28, 2015. The IFA Secretary, Mr Kushal Das, hopes that such camps will help in recognising young talent and usher in a revival in the Bengal football as there is a dearth of good Bengali footballers in the Indian soccer team.

কলকাতা, এপ্রিল ২৪: সম্প্রতি ৩ এপ্রিল থেকে ২৩ এপ্রিল, ২০১৫ পর্যন্ত তিন সপ্তাহের একটি ফুটবল প্রশিক্ষণ শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল কলকাতার মােহনবাগান মাঠে। অনুর্ধ্ব ১৬ বছরের ১০০ জন ছেলে এই শিবিরে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল। সকাল ছটা থেকে ৯টা পর্যন্ত মােহনবাগান সিনিয়র দলের কোচ সঞ্জয় সেনের তত্ত্বাবধানে এই শিবির চলত। ভারতীয় ফুটবল অ্যাসােসিয়েশান সফলভাবেই এই শিবিরের আয়ােজন করেছিল। পরবর্তী শিবির হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে ডিসেম্বরের ১০ থেকে ২৮ তারিখ পর্যন্ত। আই এফ এ সেক্রেটারি শ্রী কুশল দাস আশা প্রকাশ করেন যে, তরুণ প্রতিভাধরদের খুঁজে বার করতে এই ধরনের শিবির বেশ সহায়ক হবে, এবং বাংলার ফুটবলকে নতুন করে ঘুরে দাঁড়াতে পথ দেখাবে কারণ বর্তমান ভারতের ফুটবল দলে বাঙালি ফুটবল খেলােয়াড়ের আকাল চলছে।
