SMS has now become one of the easiest and quickest modes of communication. To send an SMS, a few steps need to be followed. At first, ‘menu’ button is pressed. Then the message option is selected. Then ‘create new message’ option is chosen. Next, the mobile number of the recipient is inserted if it is not saved in the phone memory. Thereafter, the message is written. Now, ‘send’ option is used. Then ‘message sent’ is displayed on the screen. Deduction of charges for sending the SMS is then informed with a beep sound. Finally, one is sure that the person whom one sent the message has got it.
মােবাইল ফোন (চলভাষ) থেকে বার্তা প্রেরণ
এসএমএস এখন সহজতম ও দ্রুততম যােগাযােগের উপায়। এসএমএস পাঠাতে হলে কয়েকটি ধাপ অনুসরণ করা প্রয়ােজন। প্রথমে মেনু (menu) বােতামটি টিপতে হয়। তারপর বার্তা (message) এই বিকল্পটি নির্বাচন করতে হয়। এর পরে নতুন বার্তা তৈরি করুন’ (create new message) বিকল্পটি নির্বাচন করতে হয়। এবার বার্তা প্রাপকের মােবাইল নম্বরটি লিখতে হয় যদি তা ফোনের মেমরিতে মজুত না থাকে। পরবর্তী পর্যায়ে বার্তাটি লেখা হয়। এবার ‘প্রেরণ’ (send) বিকল্পটি ব্যবহার করা হয়। তারপর বার্তা প্রেরিত হল’ (message sent) কথাটি পর্দায় ফুটে ওঠে। একটি বিপ শব্দের সাথে সাথে এসএমএসটি পাঠানাের মূল্য কেটে নেওয়ার তথ্য জানানাে হয়। শেষে একজন নিশ্চিত হয় যে, যে ব্যক্তিকে বার্তা পাঠানাে হয়েছে সেটি সে পেয়েছে।
